Their usage is also uncomplicated. They can be operated by unlocking the device through a password. Few USB drives are also intelligent enough to recognize fingerprints. As the usage of portable USB drives are made in different devices, it has become a virtual nightmare for security experts in different corporations to keep them in a safer place.
USB connections are considered to be very versatile as they can transmit copious amount of electrical currents at a same rate as that of data transfer. This very attribute of the device makes it usage in the portable devices a successful one.
Portable devices can have their batteries recharged via a USB connection while data transfer is taking place at concurrently. It is also possible to have a computer mouse connected to a USB port and have a heater built in it so that your hands are always warm while you are operating the computer. So, the possibilities are endless with the ever changing USB technology. The key is to identify and then tapping to the advantage of mankind.
